The Garden Isle's only oceanfront luau is at the premiere property on Poipu Beach, the Sheraton Kauai Resort. Pitah Production presents "Te Pahu Mana, The Spirit of the Drum” reverberates through countless generations carrying the rhythm and stories of the ancient ones of Polynesia. We follow the sound of "Te Pahu" the drum as it takes us back several hundred years to Tahiti and throughout Polynesia. The spirit of the drum continues and to this day in the flowing movements of the hula, the pahu conveys the "mana" the power and the soul of Hawaii. Experience the pulsating drum dances of Tahiti, the rhythmic sounds of Hawaii's drum, the hula Pahu, a visit with our Maori cousins of Aotearoa as the evening culminates with the exciting drums that accompanies the dangerous HOT flaming sword of Samoa, "Siva Afi" the Samoan Fire knife dance.
