Keiki Aloha Program

CHILDREN’S PROGRAM FOCUSES ON HAWAII’S CULTURE

AND MAKING LEARNING FUN

Poipu Beach, Kauai, HawaiiHula dancing, ukulele lessons, Bamboo Pole Fishing, Hawaiian Games, seed and flower lei making, each with a long history in Hawaii’s culture are some of the most popular activities offered in the Keiki Aloha Club’s program.   Of course, there are other more universal children’s activities such as sandcastle building, drawing, painting and kite flying,  But, the reflection of Hawaii’s culture seems to prevail in each, like the Hawaiian legends that are a part of the Storytelling time.

Sheraton Kauai Resort’s “Keiki Aloha Club,” is the resort’s childrens program for youngsters 5 to 12 years old.  Available to guests year around on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Keiki Aloha offers half day and full day sessions.  Lunch is optional with both the morning and the afternoon half-day sessions. 24-hour advance reservations are required. Three and four-year old children may qualify to attend half day sessions dependent upon their verbal and physical skills.  For more information and/or reservations please call the Keiki Aloha Club at 742-1661, extension 3318.

Keiki Aloha Club is operated by Kamaaina Kids, a quality child care provider for hotels and conventions and licensed by the State of Hawaii.  All staff are certified in First Aid, Child CPR, and Blood-borne Pathogens and several are certified lifeguards.
