Here are the most common frequently asked questions regarding our revitalization plan:
1. What changes will guests see once the transformation is complete?
- The arrival experience will be enhanced with refurbishment of the port cochere and main lobby.
- The addition of a courtyard lounge with fire pits and Link Cafe with oceanfront vistas.
- Our two oceanfront lava's (Now Open) and Rum Fire restaurants to create our new signature dining experience.
- The Oceanfront Pool and lava's on Poipu Beach will be transformed and expanded.
- New addition of oceanfront wedding, catering, and ball room venue.
- Refurbished Garden Wing bathrooms.

2. When will the renovations begin? When will they end?
The transformation has begun with LAVA'S ON POIPU BEACH now opened! The ocean front pool completed and opened on August 3rd, 2011. Following with the ocean courtyard, Link Cafe and RumFire scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2012.
**As of 10/24/2011, the scheduled dates are as follows:
August 2011
LAVA'S ON POIPU BEACH and the ocean Front Pool OPENED as of mid- August, 2011, as well as the Ocean Lobby and Porte Cochere.
Late November 2011

3. What are the work hours and potential noise levels?
Work is being conducted Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. Although construction noise will occur, we will do all possible to ensure that it is minimized as best as possible.
As of 10/24/2011, noise levels are primarily relegated to construction vehicles moving debris to and from the resort with the majority of demolition related noise completed.

4. What about my clients with reservations?
We welcome reservations for arrivals and events throughout this period. For reservations contact 808-742-1661 or visit our website at http://www.sheraton-kauai.com.
Cancellations will not be assessed a penalty. However, you may also reschedule your dates of stay and we will honor your existing reservation.
You may also consider one of our two Starwood Kaua’i Resorts, the St. Regis Hotel and the Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas at their prevailing room rates.

5. Is the Sheraton Kaua’i Resort offering any specials during this time?
As of August 3rd 2011, our complimentary breakfast will be dis-continued. Guests will be invited to enjoy daily entertainment and events including our Pure Bliss Happy Hour at Lava's on Poipu Beach from 3-5pm and 9-11pm.
Complimentary breakfast will conclude August 3rd 2011.

6. Sunsational package customers?
Guests will enjoy complimentary breakfast and a $25.00 per day resort dinning credit which is combinable and applicable to food and beverage. Credit must be consumed during your stay and has no cash value. *New bookings with travel after August 3rd 2011, will no longer recieve resort dining credit.

- Prior to our Rum Fire opening, Breakfast will be served on the tranquil Garden Wing of the hotel from 6am to 10:30am. Adult Buffet $19.95 / Continental $14.95 and children 6-12, Buffet is $10.00.
- Lunch and dinner is served at our brand new culinary experience LAVA'S ON POIPU BEACH!
- Room service will offer dinner service.
