RumFire Poipu Beach's 2nd Annual RumFeast will feature Koloa Rum-based, a la carte menu items and the option to pair each selection with a handcrafted Koloa Rum cocktail. The event will be available during RumFire’s regular business hours from 5:30 PM to 9:30PM, with the bar area closing at 10 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
RumFeast’s special menu will feature locally inspired dishes, such as a deconstructed “kamaboko” of shellfish with a Koloa Coconut Rum gastrique and a Portuguese white bean soup with Koloa Rum-glazed Portuguese sausage. Main offerings include Ni‘ihau Braised-Lamb Ravioli served with local Kunana Dairy goat cheese and a Koloa Rum carrot puree and a Pink Peppercorn and Kaffir Lime-Crusted Ahi. A la carte items can be paired with inventive cocktails like the Papaya Cooler, featuring papaya-infused Koloa Rum and kaffir lime syrup, St. Germaine and lemon. The refreshing Koloa Presse includes Koloa Gold Rum, Chambord and lime and pineapple juices. Finish the evening with a Flaming Banana Panna Cotta paired with The Golden Coffee, made with Koloa Coffee Rum, Koloa Gold Rum and half-and-half.
Individual item prices for RumFeast start from $10, and a limited number of signature dishes from RumFire’s regular menu will also be available.

RumFire Poipu Beach, the south shore’s oceanfront hot spot, is proud to support the Kaua'i community through its Table 53 program. All net food & beverage proceeds for the restaurant's Table 53 is donated to local charities every year.
Facing the beautifully landscaped Ocean Courtyard and inviting fire pits, Table 53 features private booth seating for four guests, and is perfect for viewing Kaua‘i’s lovely sunsets.
For the month of July, all net food & beverage proceeds for Table 53 during dinner service will be donated to the Mobile Munchie Outreach Program.
Patrons who are interested in participating in RumFire’s month-long Table 53 program are encouraged to make reservations in advance by calling 808-742-4786 and requesting Table 53. The table will be available on a first come, first serve basis. All net food and beverage proceeds will be donated to the Mobile Munchies Outreach Program. Gratuity will be paid to the server and taxes will be remitted to the State of Hawaii.

KAUAI'S BEST BARTENDER COMPETITION
BEGINS EVERY FRIDAY, AUGUST 11 THRU NOVEMBER 17, 2017
Food and beverage pros from around the island are rising to the challenge in Sheraton Kauai Resort's RumFire Poipu Beach 2nd Annual Kauai's Best Bartender competition. The showcase gives masterful mixologists a chance to earn the title and a cash prize. The 15-week, single-elimination tournament puts contestants head-to-head in creating an original, rum-based cocktail from one mystery ingredient each round. Resort guests taste each concoction and cast their votes to help decide the winner each week, every Friday night beginning Aug. 11. The winner will be named Kauai's Best Bartender in the final round on November 17.
